One of the few things that connects the human race across great gulfs of time is the night sky. We have been staring up at the stars since the dawn of man, asking questions that still to this day are unanswered. Seeing a sky like this still sparks my imagination and takes my mind to places previously unexplored.
The freedom to just be a kid has never been more important. Kids today can't just run off after school and come home "when the street lights come on." My son and I spent the weekend camping up in Maine with some friends. The boys were able to have that freedom from the structure of life at home, and just do what boys are supposed to do. In this case that is staying up late and shooting Rocket Copters under the Big Dipper!
The owner of Flat Rock Bridge Campground was kind enough to take a photo with us, after coming to visit our campsite. We may have been a bit too loud after 11pm😜 He was a great guy and was fun to talk with:) Flat Rock is a great place to take the family and decompress from the hustle and bustle of life in and around the city. If you go, make sure you take a ride down the water slide!
