Converting an already dramatic image to black and white can make for some stunning results. We really lucked out with this afternoons storms. We would have kept shooting if not for the visibility killing downpour and quarter inch hail.
Mother Nature is the gift that keeps on giving. Another spectacular sunset over Lake Quannapowitt tonight! They just keep on coming, one night after the next. During the early evening, the sky was a solid grey, with thick cloud cover. Then as the sun was setting, this happened. Again, don't leave those cameras home! They won't do you any good there.
